The Toronto Blue Jays have agreed to terms with 1B/OF Steve Pearce to a 2-year $12.5M deal. (Ken Rosenthal on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Once realizing that they could not agree to terms with 1B/DH Edwin Encarnacion they made a move to sign Steve Pearce and Kendrys Morales. If Pearce can get a full-time job in a similar Blue Jays lineup as last year- Pearce could be in for a career year. If you want to wait on a 1B, Pearce is your guy.
