The Washington Nationals have traded top prospect Lucas Giolito, Dane Dunning, and Reynaldo Lopez to the Chicago White Sox for OF Adam Eaton. (Jon Heyman on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Eaton was a .284 hitter in 2016 with a .362 OBP, 14 home runs, 91 runs scored and 14 stolen bases. Eaton is an on-base machine and in the leadoff spot for Washington, he should get all he can handle. Expect Eaton to push for 100 runs scored along with more opportunities in every relevant statistical fantasy category. Hitting in a much better lineup than he has before, Eaton's value should be higher going into this season than last.
