Miami Marlins pitcher Eric Jokisch cleared waivers, was outrighted to Double-A, then was traded to the Texas Rangers for Pedro Ciriaco.
Fantasy Impact
Quite a dizzying day for the lefty pitcher. He was removed from the 40-man roster by the Marlins so he will not need to be added to that of the Rangers. He will continue to pitch in the minor leagues and is unlikely to see a major league mound this season.

The 26-year-old starter had pitched well in the hitter friendly PCL, posting a 4.37 ERA over 14 games started last year. However, after scuffling in his first Triple-A start this year, he got the boot. The Marlins will use him as Triple-A rotation depth for now and he will likely be up at some point upon an injury. At this point, he isn't of much use to your fantasy team.
