Expert NoteView More Notes
Miller is unlikely to save more than the dozen games he secured last year, but his innings could increase beyond 80, which would give us above 130 Ks to go along with a dynamite ERA and WHIP, making him a surefire top 10 reliever yet again.

Andrew Miller has had a bumpy month
Andrew Miller had allowed runs in back-to-back appearances on September 4 and 7 and has yet to have a save opportunity in September. He has a strong 1.69 ERA and 0.73 WHIP this season.
Owning Andrew Miller in 2016 has been a tease, as he was an elite closer in New York before Aroldis Chapman returned and then was traded to Cleveland, where he was presumably taking the job from Cody Allen. The transition, though, has never happened and Miller is a situational lefty for the Indians, leaving him better off on the waiver wire in leagues that do not give credit for holds.
