2B - BOS
Expert NoteView More Notes
Pedroia was finally able to stay on the field this season after two injury ridden seasons. What we saw was the same old player who hits over .300 with enough power to be serviceable. With that said, he is now 33 years old so his ceiling is more limited than a guy like Javy Baez, but the floor is quite nice.

Dustin Pedroia drives in a run in spring training game
Dustin Pedroia had a single, a walk and a sacrifice fly in his three plate appearances Tuesday as the Red Sox edged the Blue Jays 5-4.
Pedroia comes into the season moving to leadoff in the lineup for the Red Sox. He is coming off a great year in which he hit .318 with 15 HRs and 105 runs scored. As long as Pedroia stays on the field, it's realistic to expect similar numbers in 2017.
