The Mets and McCann have been working towards a deal the past few days and ultimately agreed on a four-year contract. He slashed .289/.360/.536 with seven homers, 15 RBI, 20 runs scored and one stolen base over 31 games for the White Sox in 2020. McCann is expected to be the Mets’ primary catcher and should see everyday at-bats next season. The 30-year-old is a borderline C1 in upcoming 2021 fantasy baseball drafts.
