Gausman reportedly received multi-year offers from other teams, but ultimately accepted the one-year, $18.9 million qualifying offer from the Giants. He was terrific in a shortened 2020 campaign, posting a 3.62 ERA, 1.11 WHIP and a 79:16 K:BB across 59 2/3 innings with the Giants.
