The Arizona Diamondbacks have optioned first baseman/outfielder Pavin Smith to Triple-A Reno.

Fantasy Impact

Smith has appeared in each of the last four seasons for the D-backs but has largely struggled at the plate. He has hit .240 with 28 home runs, four steals, and a .698 OPS across 301 games. He also hit .282 without a homer in 45 spring plate appearances in Cactus League action.
