In a stellar performance against the Giants, Chase Anderson showcased his potential as a fantasy asset, tossing 7 hitless innings while racking up 7 strikeouts.

Fantasy Impact: Despite issuing 5 walks, Anderson's ability to keep the Giants off the board and contribute to a 3-2 Rockies victory is a positive sign for his fantasy outlook. Prior to this game, Anderson had struggled with a 6.00 ERA and a 1.45 WHIP over 15 starts, but this outing could be a turning point for him going forward. With an improved strikeout rate of 6.8 K/9 and a 1.97 strikeout-to-walk ratio, Anderson has the potential to provide value in fantasy leagues if he can build on this impressive performance.

Justin Lawrence had a strong outing on Tuesday, earning a save in the Rockies' 6-4 victory over the Cubs.

This performance adds to his already solid season stats, which include a 3.97 ERA, a 1.29 WHIP, and an impressive 9.0 K/9 rate. With 11 saves and six blown saves, Lawrence has been a reliable option out of the bullpen for fantasy managers this season.

Chris Flexen's struggles continued on Tuesday as he allowed nine hits and three earned runs over 5.1 innings pitched against the Rockies.

Fantasy Impact: With a 7.22 ERA and a 1.76 WHIP on the season, Flexen has been a major disappointment for fantasy owners, and this outing did little to inspire confidence in his ability to turn things around. With only one win in 13 starts and a lackluster 6.8 K/9, it's difficult to trust Flexen as a viable fantasy option moving forward.

Fantasy Impact: Trejo gets the nod at second base due to the late scratch of fellow second baseman Brendan Rodgers. It's been a very rough season at the plate for Trejo who is hitting .235 with two homers, four steals, and a .614 OPS across 184 trips to the plate.

Fantasy Impact: Castro started at second base and went 0-for-3 with a strikeout while driving in the club's lone run with an RBI groundout in the fifth. It's been a tough season as the plate for the former Tiger who is hitting .259 with one homer, one steal, and a .599 OPS across 92 appearances.

Fantasy Impact: Profer’s release comes as the Rockies are calling up Hunter Goodman from Triple-A Albuquerque. Profar has struggled this season, slashing .236/.316/.364 with eight home runs and 39 RBI in 111 games this season.

Brenton Doyle had a forgettable performance in Tuesday's game against the Rays, going 1-for-4 at the plate with no RBI, runs scored, or extra-base hits.

Fantasy Impact: However, he did manage to swipe a base, showcasing his speed on the basepaths. This lackluster outing is consistent with his season-long struggles, as Doyle has struggled to find consistent success at the plate, evidenced by his .189 batting average and high strikeout rate. Fantasy managers should approach Doyle with caution, as his limited offensive production and inconsistent playing time make him a risky option in most formats.

With a low strikeout rate of 4.17 K/9, Blach's high ERA and WHIP, along with a low strikeout-to-walk ratio, make him a risky option in fantasy leagues.

Fantasy Impact: Blach's limited fantasy value is further diminished by his inconsistent performances.

He will get the start on Wednesday afternoon while he's hitting just .197 with one homer and one steal across 69 plate appearances in a Rockies uniform this season.

Fantasy Impact: Hand, 33, is enduring his worst season since being converted to a full-time reliever in the 2016 season. The left-hander owns a 4.54 ERA in 40 outings but his 3.82 SIERA and 26.1% K% suggest that he could see some improvement in an environment not named Coors Field.

However, each of his last 13 outings came as a starter after beginning the season out of the bullpen. Peter Lambert has been recalled to take Seabold's spot in the rotation.
