Notes
He's a player whose value is solely based on him having the ball in his hands. Well, there are two other players to share that ball with this year, which hurts his value.
Michael Waterloo - FantasyPros
Washington should see an uptick in value as the go-to power forward for the Hornets. Decent three-point shooter for a stretch-four.
Michael Waterloo - FantasyPros
Brandon Ingram is an elite professional scorer. Entering his seventh professional season, Ingram has averaged at least 22 PPG in three consectutive years. He reached a career high with 5.6 APG, while maintainting a solid 46.1% FG. Ingram took a step forward in the postseason, leading New Orleans with 27 PPG. That could be a precursor of things to come, even with the return of Zion Williamson.
Mike Randle - FTN
P.J. Washington has been a solid contributor during his three NBA seasons, showing offensive versatility as a 6-foot-7 power forward. His career average of 11.3 PPG is supported by a 37.5 percent efficiency mark from 3P range on 4.4 attempts per contest. Washington provides 5.7 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and a combined 2.0 steals/blocks per game. Depending on the looming suspension for Miles Bridges, Washington to see a huge opportunity bump in 2022-2023.
