| Jayson Tatum signed a signed a five-year contract extension worth up to $195 million with the Celtics this offseason. He had a breakout campaign in his third year in the league, averaging 23.4 points, 7.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 1.4 steals, 0.9 blocks and 2.9 triples across 34.3 minutes over 66 games. Gordon Hayward signed with the Hornets, the former third overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft could have an expanded role. The 22-year-old made his first All-Star appearance last season and is expected to once again carry the Celtics' offense.
