Notes | ||
Luka Doncic led the league with triple-doubles (17) throughout his sophomore campaign and finished third in assists per game (8.8), sixth in scoring per game (28.8), and 17th in rebounds per game (9.4). At just 21 years old, it's crazy to think that Doncic can still improve those numbers heading into his third season. He should be a top-three pick in all formats and has a good chance to finish as the top fantasy producer this season. Dave Kluge - FantasyPros | Heading into his fifth season, Anthony-Towns is coming off career-highs in points (26.5) and assists (4.4). Although he saw a slight drop in his rebounds (10.8) he still finished seventh overall. You're betting on his health being better after he's seen an increase in missed games over the last two seasons. Hopefully, the midseason addition of his friend D'Angelo Russell will help Anthony-Towns to play through some of those nagging injuries that sidelined him in 2019-2020. Dave Kluge - FantasyPros
Coming off an MVP-caliber season, Doncic should be ready to take the next step forward in his third season. He averaged 28.9 points, 9.4 boards, and 8.9 assists and earned All-NBA First-Team honors in the process. His shooting and turnovers ding his value slightly in category leagues, but there's legitimate argument for him to go No. 1 in points leagues this season. Zachary Hanshew - FantasyPros | Towns was on pace for a massive fantasy season last year before nagging injuries sidelined him for the majority of the winter and spring. He averaged career-highs in points per game (26.5), assists per game (4.4), and most impressively, three-pointers per game (3.3). He also adds enough blocks (1.2) and steals (.9) to be considered one of the best all-around contributors in the NBA, something that isn't easy to find at the center position. Aaron Larson - FantasyPros
While fantasy managers might remember Towns' 2019-20 season primarily for his missed games, he actually had a monster season. KAT averaged career highs in points (26.5), assists (4.4), and threes (3.3) while pulling down at least 10 boards for the fifth straight season. As long as he's healthy for the 2020-21 season, he should be an easy top-5 selection in both points and category leagues due to his tremendous stat-stuffing abilities. Zachary Hanshew - FantasyPros |
