Notes
I have my concerns about Zion Williamson, who carries a cumulative injury history. He has played only 85 games through his first three NBA seasons, yet signed a massive five-year contract extension. The last time we saw the 6-foot-6, 284 lb forward, he was posting 27 PPG and 7.2 RPG. However, with the development of Brandon Ingram, the addition of CJ McCollum, and his annual weight concerns, is that production we will never see again?
Mike Randle - BettingPros
Michael Porter Jr. is returning after missing all but nine games of the 2021-2022 season after back surgery. The explosive 6-foot-10, 218-lb explosive forward has tantilized fantasy drafters with his 19 PPG, 7.3 RPB, and 44.5% 3P accuracy in 61 games just two years ago. Due to injury, Porter Jr. is placed around other safe, veteran options who lack anywhere close to his upside. It's important to note: the return of Murray could stifle his upside. In 35 games without Murray on the floor, Porter Jr. has averaged 21.3 PPG, 8.0 RPG, and 3.2 3PM. In 81 games with Murray, those numbers drop to 11.5 PPG, 5.2 RPG, and only 1.5 3PM.
