Kevin Durant scores 27 points including 13 free-throws

On the court for 42 minutes in Friday night's loss at home to the Memphis Grizzlies, Kevin Durant went 7-for-17 from the field but missed all five of his three-point attempts. He was 13-for-18 from the free-throw line, pulled down a team-high 13 rebounds, made three blocks, and committed four turnovers.

Fantasy Impact:

This was the second game in a row where Kevin Durant was relegated to a secondary role in the offense. He seems to have lost coach Steve Kerr's favor after the Warriors lost to the Cleveland Cavaliers on Christmas Day. Durant had 17 shot attempts, which was equal to Klay Thompson, but far short of Steph Curry's 27 shot attempts. He only shot 1-for-4 in the second half, and his low usage appears to have affected his confidence. While he is still putting up big numbers due to his ability to draw fouls, as well as his work rebounding, his ceiling will be capped as long as Curry is the number one weapon on offense.
