Kevin Durant shoots at 60 percent to score 28 points against Sacramento

On the court for 36 minutes in Sunday night's away win against the Kings, Kevin Durant went 9-for-15, including 2-for-4 from three-point range. He went 8-for-9 from the free-throw line, pulled down seven rebounds, and contributed six assists. He also had four blocks.

Fantasy Impact:

The 15 shot attempts was the third highest on the team, behind Klay Thomspon (19) and Stephen Curry (22). The past weeks has seen Curry take the lead role on offense, limiting Durant's ceiling. While he may not be taking as many shots as he did in the first half of the season, the reduced responsibility may produce a more efficient Kevin Durant. It may also give him time to increase his rebounds and assists. Impressively, Durant went 5-for-8 when facing tight coverage (defender less than four feet away). It'll be interesting to observe how this plays out.
