Wesley Matthews helps Mavericks to third straight win
by Tom Williams | Hawks Correspondent | Wed, Jan 18th 4:15pm EST
Wesley Matthews was off target for most of Tuesday night but he was on fire when it mattered most. Matthews nailed a last second three-pointer to propel the Dallas Mavericks to their third straight victory, a road-stunner against the Chicago Bulls. Matthews shot 4-for-10 on the night, including three three-pointers, to finish with 11 points. He also had four rebounds and two assists.
Fantasy Impact:
Matthews remains too inconsistent to be considered for anything but daily fantasy tournaments. He will turn in an occasional brilliant shooting night from beyond the arc, but those are becoming more and more infrequent. He will play a lot of minutes because of his defensive skills, but you really need to be careful about when and where you insert him into your fantasy lineups.
