Kevin Durant shoots 81 percent to score 40 points against Thunder

On the court for 33 minutes in Wednesday night's home win over Oklahoma City, Kevin Durant went 13-for-16, including 5-for-7 from beyond the three-point line, and 9-for-10 in free-throws. He also pulled down 12 rebounds.

Fantasy Impact:

Durant was on a tear against his former club. His shooting percentage has been improving in the past few games when he has taken fewer shots than Stephen Curry, but this kind of performance could not have been predicted. It was his highest scoring game of the season, and his second-best shooting percentage. He bounced back in a big way from the previous game against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Expect Durant to take this momentum into the last few weeks of January.
