Justin Anderson scores 19 against Lakers

by Tom Williams | Mon, Jan 23rd 10:48am EST

The Dallas Mavericks destroyed the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday 122-73 thanks to 19 points from Justin Anderson. The second year pro shot 5-for-11 and drained three three-pointers in the win. He also grabbed five rebounds, had two assists and grabbed one steal in a little more than 15 minutes of play.

Fantasy Impact:

Don’t let the numbers fool you. Anderson did most of this damage in garbage time against a Lakers team that was not interested. Also, starting small forward Wesley Matthews went down with an injury midway through this game, but Dorian Finney-Smith was first in line for his minutes. Anderson is a raw talent with loads of potential, but he has a long way to go before he earns any significant playing time that would make him fantasy relevant.
