Terrence Jones puts up season-high 36 points in Pelicans win

by Alex Murray | Tue, Jan 24th 3:22pm EST

Terrence Jones filled in superbly for Anthony Davis on Monday night, putting in 36 points on 72 percent shooting from the field including going 3-for-4 from deep (as well as 7-for-10 from the free throw line). Jones added 11 rebounds, three blocks, two steals and an assist in the Pelicans' 124-122 win over the Cavs on Monday night.

Fantasy Impact:

Jones came up big in the absence of Anthony Davis as he put up a season-high 36 points as part of his double-double. Not to mention his contributions on the defensive end, as one of his three blocks came against Lebron James in the dying minutes of the game. The Pelicans need to get this kid on the floor more often.
