J.J. Barea (calf) likely to return shortly after All-Star break

J.J. Barea will leverage the additional time off during the All-Star break to prepare for a return to the Mavericks lineup. "I'm confident about (returning) after the break. Not the first game,” Barea said. “I'm going to try to get a couple practices in me before and go from there." (Eddie Sefko via Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

The Mavericks next play back-to-back games on February 24 against Minnesota and then February 25 against New Orleans. There’s a good chance Barea plays in the second game, barring any setbacks. This would impact Yogi Ferrell the most since he’s the first point guard off the bench, which is Barea’s normal role. The starting point guard, Deron Williams returned to the lineup this week.
