Joel Embiid (knee) likely to play in first game after the break

by Sean Fitzpatrick | 76ers Correspondent | Fri, Feb 17th 4:14pm EST

Joel Embiid is likely to play in the first game after the All-Star break on February 24th against the Wizards. Embiid suffered a minor meniscus tear causing him to miss 14 of the last 15 games. We would have to wait-and-see as the Process will always be held out as precautionary. We will likely get multiple updates between now and February 24th. (Keith Pompey on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

With the trade deadline looming, Jahlil Okafor could be dealt opening up more minutes for Nerlens Noel, Dario Saric and Ersan Ilyasova. At this time, Okafor is a speculative add in the hopes of a trade. Saric, Noel and Ilyasova need to be owned especially with Embiid out. Hang onto Embiid as fantasy owners are hoping for the best.
