Carmelo Anthony is expected to remain in New York

Carmelo Anthony is expected to remain in New York the rest of this season despite Phil Jackson's wishes of possibly trading their star player in order to rebuild around Kristaps Porzingis. The no-trade clause is the road block for Jackson and trade talks with the Celtics, Cavaliers and Clippers is likely cooling down. Expect Anthony to at least finish out this season as a Knick. Fantasy Impact:
For fantasy owners, this is the news they are hoping for as Anthony is the clear No. 1 option on the offensive end of the floor. A trade to any one of those teams would move him down to a No. 2 or No. 3 scoring option. The only worry for fantasy owners is an early shutdown when the Knicks are eliminated from playoff contention.
