Carmelo Anthony could waive no-trade clause in the summer

by Sean Fitzpatrick | Wed, Feb 22nd 11:11am EST

The Clippers were hoping for Carmelo Anthony to his waive no-trade clause before the deadline but that seems unlikely. However, they feel like they have a better chance to trade for Anthony in the offseason. These times haven't been any tougher for Anthony in New York so eventually, he could waive his no-trade clause to join a contender. (ESPN.com)

Fantasy Impact:

Anthony is expected to remain in NY this season so his value won't change. If Derrick Rose gets traded to Minnesota, Anthony and Kristaps Porzingis become even more valuable for the rest of the way.
