Chris Paul has been ruled out for Thursday's matchup with the Warriors despite some hope that he could play after practicing on Wednesday. (Brad Turner on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Paul is trying to come back earlier than expected from surgery on a torn ligament in his left thumb. The fact that he has begun practicing is a good sign for him to return to the court soon. Look for Paul to return to game action on the Clippers upcoming three-game homestand against the Spurs on Friday, followed by the Hornets (Sunday) and the Rockets (Wednesday). Fantasy owners prepare to insert him back into your starting lineups. When he returns Austin Rivers and Raymond Felton will both lose playing time and can be let go.
