DeMar DeRozan drops 40 on Miami

DeMar DeRozan scored 40 points in 36 minutes on Thursday night that saw the Raptors defeat the Miami Heat 101-84. This is DeRozan’s second 40 point plus game in a row, the first time that he has done this in his career. DeRozan and the Raptors will head to Texas Saturday for a matchup with the Dallas Mavericks.
Fantasy Impact:
DeRozan has been on a tear the past two games. Despite having the deck stacked against him statistically, he still managed to produce a solid outing. In the one meeting DeRozan has had against the Mavs this season, he produced 25 points and had six boards. Dallas plays slow, placing last so far this season in team points per game and second to last in possessions per game. Expect DeRozan to cool off a bit on Saturday but with a limited number of options available with only a five-game slate, having DeRozan in a fantasy lineup probably won’t do any harm.
