Yogi Ferrell provides spark off bench

by Tom Williams | Sun, Mar 26th 10:35am EDT

Yogi Ferrell was one of only three Mavericks to score double-digit points in their loss to the Raptors on Saturday night. Ferrell came off the bench and shot 4-of-10, hitting two from beyond the arc to finish with 10 points, four rebounds and four steals.

Fantasy Impact:

Based on coach Rick Carlisle’s comments following the game, it looks like Ferrell has found his identity as a utility man off the bench. “He played with a lot of force and he had great impact in the game, really, at both ends,” Carlisle said of Ferrell. “He was ready to play and it’s a great sign for him and his career. He’s shown that he can be an effective starter, and the last couple of games he’s been really terrific off the bench. It just adds value to who he is as a player in this league.” If you think you are going to be in need of steals in your fantasy playoff matchup, Ferrell is a good streaming option.
