Russell Westbrook compiled 50 points (17-for-32 FG, 5-for-12 3PT, 11-for-11 FT), 16 rebounds, 10 assists, and a steal in Sunday afternoon's nail-biting win over Denver.
Fantasy Impact:
Westbrook was nothing short of fabulous. Needing just one assist midway through the fourth quarter in order to record his record-breaking 42nd triple-double of the season, Russ was let down twice. Then, the MVP candidate was advancing towards the basket and kicked the ball out to Semaj Christon, who nailed a three-pointer, and delivered the goods. A historic regular season is coming to a close for Westbrook, as he's broken a record that was thought unbreakable, led his team to the playoffs once more, and now is a favorite to win the MVP award. A first-round pick in virtually every fantasy league, the "Brodie" has delivered in spades since day one and should continue to do so as the championship rounds come to a close. #Hist0ry
