Carmelo Anthony is strongly considering waiving his no-trade clause

by Sean Fitzpatrick | Fri, Apr 14th 10:21am EDT

Carmelo Anthony is strongly considering waiving his no-trade clause, according to Ian Begley of ESPN.com. This has been a possibility since the trade deadline even with the team saying that Carmelo Anthony is a big part of their future. If he was to become available, there would be plenty of suitors including Cleveland, Los Angeles Clippers and Boston Celtics. (ESPN NY )

Fantasy Impact:

Anthony's fantasy value would be in trouble if he was dealt to a contending team with multiple stars like the Clippers or Cavaliers. If he remains in New York and healthy, he will produce third or fourth round numbers. Also, if he stays in New York, Kristaps Porzingis will take a slight dip. This story should be updated throughout the summer.
