Ian Mahinmi will not play on Sunday in Game 1 against the Hawks and will likely miss at least two more games with a strained left calf. Jason Smith should pick up some more minutes behind Marcin Gortat to open the series. (Washington Post)
Fantasy Impact:
Mahinmi is a big loss for the Wizards on the defensive end especially with the team showing less confidence in Marcin Gortat. The team faces off against Dwight Howard and without Mahinmi it gives him an additional boost. For the Wizards, Jason Smith is worth a look for a cheap DFS play.
