Marcin Gortat scores only two points in Game 6

by Dennis Clausen | Sat, Apr 29th 10:21pm EDT

Marcin Gortat has a sub-par game on Friday night, scoring only two points in 18 minutes. He did manage to grab seven boards and dish out three assists as well. Despite his poor scoring effort, the Wizards beat the Atlanta Hawks 115-99 and won the series 4-2. Next up, Washington will head to Boston for Game 1 of the conference semifinals on Sunday.

Fantasy Impact:

Gortat hasn't exactly shined this postseason, averaging 11 boards and seven points per game. Though he was fairly productive against Boston this season averaging 11 points and eight boards per meeting, his recent play doesn't instill confidence in those wondering if they should add him to their DFS roster. The Wizards seem to have a good thing going by limiting the court time of Gortat in favor of a faster lineup. With John Wall, Bradley Beal and Markieff Morris taking a huge chunk of Washington's shots, there are other options available that will get you more DFS points than Gortat.
