Robert Covington will return to Sixers next season

The Sixers have picked up the team option on Robert Covington for next season worth just over $1.5 million. It's a smart move as Covington was one of their best players last season scoring 12.9 points, 6.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.9 steals per game. Covington would easily command more on the open market so the team could opt to sign him to a long term deal. (Jessica Camerato on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Unfortunately for Covington, Ben Simmons should return as well as Joel Embiid next season. Covington could be a strong sixth man for the team and depending on the draft could be in a log jam at the three/four. At this time, make Convington a late round draft pick in re-draft leagues.
