Philadelphia officially acquires No. 1 pick from Boston

Philadelphia has officially acquired the No. 1 overall pick from the Boston Celtics and will select G Markelle Fultz with the top choice on Thursday night. The 76ers will give the Celtics the No. 3 overall pick in the draft this Thursday while also including a 2018 first round pick via the Lakers. However, if the Lakers don't fall between the No. 2 and No. 5 pick in the 2018 draft, the Celtics would receive either the Kings first round pick in 2019 or the 76ers first round pick in 2019, whichever is better. Fantasy Impact:

Fultz will be the top pick in the upcoming draft and will be a huge upgrade to the 76ers as a point/shooting guard. Fultz will be a solid mid-range fantasy option in re-draft leagues next season playing alongside Dario Saric, Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid. T.J. McConnell loses his starting job and most of his fantasy value.
