Jrue Holiday re-signs with Pelicans on five-year deal

by Sean Fitzpatrick | Celtics Correspondent | Sat, Jul 1st 1:05pm EDT

Jrue Holiday chooses to stay with the Pelicans after agreeing to a five-year $127 million deal on Saturday. Bonus could push this deal north of $150 million so it's a great deal for Holiday. Holiday will look to improve on a strong 2016 season alongside DeMarcus Cousins and Anthony Davis. (Adrian Wojnarowski on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

The Pelicans have their own "Big 3" now with Cousins, Holiday and Davis but Holiday is clearly the third option making him a high-risk fantasy asset. His assist numbers should be north of six or seven per game but if he can reach 20 points per game he will well worth his fourth or fifth round price.
