Tim Hardway signs four-year offer sheet from Knicks

by Sean Fitzpatrick | Mavericks Correspondent | Fri, Jul 7th 9:33am EDT

Tim Hardaway has signed a four-year $71 million offer sheet from the New York Knicks. Hardaway was drafted by the Knicks with the No. 24 overall pick in the 2013 draft but traded him to the Hawks where he resurrected his career last season. The Hawks acquired Marco Belinelli in the Dwight Howard deal so it remains to be seen if they match. (Shams Charania on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

The Knicks have been looking to replace Courtney Lee this summer and Tim Hardaway would certainly fit that two guard spot. The Knicks will have to wait-and-see if the Hawks match and if not possibly offer Kentavious Caldwell-Pope an offer sheet.
