Jahlil Okafor scores five points against Miami Heat in preseason win

Jahlil Okafor scored just five points on 1-of-4 shooting from the field on Friday night against the Miami Heat. Okafor also managed to grab two boards and dish out three assists in 16 minutes of action.
Fantasy Impact:
Okafor is possibly in the most complicated situation of any young player in the entire NBA for the upcoming season, as the 76ers have tried several times to trade him to no avail. It’s no secret that he is on the trading block, but they haven’t been able to move him. Okafor will find it hard to supplant Joel Embiid for playing time this season, and didn’t do a very good job last season when Embiid missed most of the season due to injury. If you’re drafting in season-long leagues, you are taking a big risk by selecting Okafor, as you never know what you’ll get on any giving night. Best advice is to leave him on waivers for the time being. Also, leave him out of your DFS lineups unless you are absolutely desperate.
