Tim Hardaway Jr. scores 14 points in loss to the Pistons

Tim Hardaway Jr. scored 14 points, had one rebound, and one assist in 35 minutes in a 111-107 loss to the Pistons.

Fantasy Impact:

Hardaway thrived when starting in 2016-17, and considering that the Knicks invested $71 million on him this summer, it's probably safe to assume that his role is only going to increase in 2017-18. In the second half of last season, there were only 11 players (the vast majority of whom will be drafted in the top 30 this season) who averaged more points and three-pointers while recording a higher three-point percentage than Hardaway. That's pretty impressive and makes it reasonable to think that we are looking at a player with Bradley Beal upside at a fraction of the cost.
