James Harden records triple-double Friday night

by Daniel Marcus | Clippers Correspondent | Sat, Oct 28th 12:40am EDT

James Harden scored 27 points on 8-for-18 shooting from the field and also went 7-for-8 from the line on Friday against the Hornets. Additionally, he added 11 assists, 10 rebounds, and one steal.

Fantasy Impact:

This was Harden's first triple-double of the season, though it would be surprising to see it be his last. He continues to handle the ball at an incredibly high rate in the absence of Chris Paul, so he should continue to rack up assists. Harden has been oddly inconsistent in his ability to get to the free-throw line to start the season, likely something that will correct itself as the season wears on. However, it remains something to monitor as it would affect his fantasy value if it were to remain throughout the season. In spite of that, Harden has had a strong start to the season and his owners should have no problem with his performances.
