Danny Green drops 17 in win over Thunder

by Christopher Berg | Sat, Nov 18th 2:08pm EST

Danny Green scored 17 points on 6-for-15 shooting and added six rebounds, four assists, two blocks and four steals across 35 minutes in Friday night's 104-101 win over the Thunder. Green shot a whopping 13 three-pointers hitting on five of them resulting in a 38 percent shooting percentage from beyond the arc. This was Green's highest scoring output in five games and his six rebounds are his highest in November. His four steals and assists ties a season-high for both stats.

Fantasy Impact:

This was a very impressive overall performance for Green. He filled up the stat sheet in every way imaginable and proved the kind of upside he brings to every game. Problem is he doesn't always deliver on that upside. This just happened to be a game where Green was very aggressive looking for his shot, especially the three-point shot and attempted the most shots he has in six games. While this game was statistically impressive it'd be hard to expect something like this every outing. He should still be kept in mind as a player with this kind of upside, especially in a plus matchup.
