Pau Gasol torches Mavericks with 25 points

Pau Gasol scored a season-high 25 points on 9-for-14 shooting, including 3-for-4 from beyond the arc in Monday night's 115-108 win over the Mavericks. Gasol added six rebounds, four assists and one steal in 35 minutes of playing time. He's now strung together three-straight games in double-digit scoring notching at least 17 points in each game. He's also more aggressive with his shot, attempting at least 11 shots in each of the past three games. He's upped his scoring average to 12.7 for the month of November.
Fantasy Impact:
On a night where the Spurs frontcourt players had their way with their opponent Gasol dropped a season-high on the Mavs. He's been red-hot the past three games, in addition to his typical rebounding output, he's averaging 19 points in the past three games. His 35 minutes of playing time were also a season-high as coach Popovich rode the hot hand. Gasol's next matchup may not be so easy against a tough Grizzlies defense on Wednesday night.
