Derrick Rose (ankle) will rejoin the team for rehab

by Sean Fitzpatrick | Grizzlies Correspondent | Mon, Dec 4th 12:34pm EST

Derrick Rose will rejoin the team this week to begin his rehab and treatment program on his injured left ankle. Rose doesn't have a timetable to return but his contemplation to retire puts him as doubtful to play the rest of 2017. Jose Calderon will start in his place. (Cavs on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Rose should be dropped at this time with the news that he was even contemplating retirement. The odds Rose plays in 2017 again is highly unlikely and Isaiah Thomas should be back in 2018 making Rose a role player anyway. Until Thomas returns, Calderon is a punt DFS play at best while JR Smith and Dwayne Wade get an upgrade.
