Doug McDermott scores season-high 23 points in win over Hawks

Doug McDermott scored a season-high 23 points (9-of-13 FGs) in a win over the Hawks on Sunday. McDermott was acquired in the Carmelo Anthony deal this summer and has played sparingly but this is a step in the right direction. He added three boards in 31 minutes of action.
Fantasy Impact:
With Tim Hardaway out, McDermott took advantage of his extra chances in Sunday's game against the Hawks. Courtney Lee also struggled in this game so maybe the hot-hand approach will take form. He's a volatile DFS play at this time.
