Caris LeVert continues dropping dimes in win over Wizards

Caris LeVert handed out eight assists to go along 16 points (4-for-8 shooting, 5-for-6 from the line, and 3-for-4 from three) and three rebounds in Tuesday's win over the Wizards.

Fantasy Impact:

Nets coach Kenny Atkinson had said while D'Angelo Russell was out that LeVert would be given an opportunity to bring up the ball at times and initiate the offense. It seems as though LeVert has taken full advantage of his coach's blessing as he contributed another eight assists on Tuesday. He now has dished out five or more assists in six of his last seven games and is averaging 6.3 assists per game during that stretch. In addition to his increased playmaking, LeVert has seen a rise in his scoring of late as Tuesday marked his fourth straight game in double-figures. While the eventual return of Russell may diminish some of his playmaking responsibilities LeVert certainly fits the bill of a player coming into his own in his second NBA season and he will likely retain value for the remainder of the season.
