Dejounte Murray scored nine points on 3-for-8 shooting in Friday night's 124-109 loss to the Rockets. He also added two rebounds, five assists and one steal across 17 minutes of playing time. This game makes the sixth time in seven games he hasn't reached double-digit scoring. His five assists are the most in four games.
Fantasy Impact:
Murray benefited from the blowout nature of this game as he saw 17 minutes of action Friday night. Hard to imagine him getting this kind of time if the game was close, especially given he's averaging just 13 minutes of playing time per game in December. Murray remains someone who can't be trusted for fantasy purposes. He could become relevant in the case of an injury to one of the starting guards, until then he doesn't need to be on the radar.
