Pau Gasol records first triple-double of season in win over Kings

by Christopher Berg | Tue, Dec 26th 9:48am EST

Pau Gasol scored 14 points, grabbed 11 rebounds and dished out 10 assists to finish Saturday night's 108-99 win over the Kings with his first triple-double of the season. Gasol shot 5-for-8, including 2-for-3 from three-point territory to get to his 14 points. His 10 assists are a season-high and the 11 rebounds are the fifth time he's hit double-figures in rebounding in December.

Fantasy Impact:

Well, this is definitely something for Gasol. In the past two games Kawhi Leonard has been held out of the lineup, Gasol has averaged 17 points, 14 rebounds and seven assists. It would be crazy to think this type of production could continue for Gasol, but then again he just posted two consecutive monster games. He should definitely be on fantasy rosters, but it still remains to be seen if he can produce at a higher level with Kawhi Leonard on the floor. If Leonard is held out, Gasol would be a safe start.
