Dejounte Murray grabs nine rebounds in win over Nets

by Christopher Berg | Hawks Correspondent | Thu, Jan 18th 12:31pm EST

Dejounte Murray logged 25 minutes of action in Wednesday night's 100-95 win over the Nets. He scored three points on 1-for-5 shooting, including 1-for-3 from three-point range and grabbed nine rebounds in his time on the court. Murray also added three assists and two steals to round out his stat line. He's now gone three straight games in single-digit scoring.

Fantasy Impact:

Murray saw some additional time off the bench with the absence of Manu Ginobili and again showed what he can do with extended time on the court. In the past three games where he's seen 20+ minutes he's averaged six points, seven rebounds and four assists. Problem here is guessing when he'll see this kind of time. Ginobili did not play Wednesday night which opened the door for Murray a little bit, but it was only the third time in January he has seen 20+ minutes. He remains best used in DFS and not season long leagues.
