Shelvin Mack gets increased role

Shelvin Mack has moved into the backup PG role for the Magic now that Elfrid Payton has been traded to the Suns. Mack played 22 minutes on Thursday scoring nine points on 4-of-10 shooting with three assists.
Fantasy Impact:
Mack should continue to play 20-plus minutes a game as the backup PG behind D.J. Augustin. He has averaged 9.7 points, 4.0 rebound and 4.3 assists over his last six games which is a reasonable expectation for him going forward. Mack is only worth fantasy consideration in very deep leagues or if he ever takes over as the starting PG.
