Elfrid Payton drops a triple-double against Utah

by Matthew Fox | Thu, Feb 15th 1:29pm EST

Elfrid Payton notched a triple-double while playing a team-high 39 minutes during the Suns' loss to the Jazz, scoring 13 points including 11 rebounds, 12 assists, two steals, one block, and five turnovers.

Fantasy Impact:

Payton delivered a monster fantasy line against Utah and posted his first triple-double of the season. The sample size is small but Payton is flourishing in Phoenix with per game averages of 20.3 points, 8.3 boards, and 8.7 assists. Payton also showed that he can co-exist with Devin Booker which is great news for his rest of season fantasy outlook. Locked into a major role in an up-tempo offense, Payton should be a big-time fantasy contributor throughout the final stretch of the season.
