Bobby Portis scores career-high 38 points Thursday

by Brad Richter | Bucks Correspondent | Fri, Feb 23rd 3:14pm EST

Bobby Portis came out of the All-Star break on fire against the Sixers on Thursday scoring a career-high 38 points on 15-of-26 shooting including hitting 6-of-9 from beyond the arc. Portis added eight rebounds and a pair of assists to his final stat line in 34 minutes during a 116-115 loss to the Sixers.

Fantasy Impact:

Before Thursday's outburst, Portis' previous high mark was 27 points set earlier this season against the Bucks. He has only started one game this season but should continue to get significant playing time over the remainder of the year with the Bulls out of playoff contention. Portis is averaging 18.1 points and 7.6 rebounds per game in seven February games. Portis should be on fantasy rosters in every league and is worth consideration in DFS lineups while his salary is reasonable.
