Fantasy Impact:
Whiteside was diagnosed a few days ago with a strained left hip flexor after his injury was originally labeled as "pain." This does put the rest of his regular season in jeopardy as head coach Erik Spoelstra may continue this cautious approach with the playoffs on the horizon. Owners can hold out hope for a few more games, but should prepare to face the brutal decision of putting the big man on waivers.
