Austin Rivers has been traded to the Wizards

Austin Rivers has been traded to the Wizards in exchange for C Marcin Gortat. Rivers exercised his $12 million option and now will find himself as a backup for John Wall and Bradley Beal in Washington. (Adrian Wojnarowski on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Washington has been searching for a solid backup for Wall after striking out with Tim Fraizer and signing veterans in Ty Lawson and Ramon Sessions. Rivers takes a hit in Washington so wait-and-see here.
